This is a pivotal role within a large audit and accounts team of this medium size Sussex practice. Due to the imminent retirement of two Partners and expansion plans, there is genuine scope for you to move upwards in this welcoming, professional firm.

They have an excellent local client base which is expanding throughout the South East. Despite having had a presence in Sussex for well over a hundred years, they are a modern thinking firm who employ the latest technology to compete at the highest level.

You will need to be a qualified accountant/auditor (ACA or ACCA) and be prepared to manage the firms audits with the support of the Partners and other senior staff. You will be the most senior audit person in the team.

The role will be audit biased but could involve other aspects if you wish for more variety. Due to the range of work and specialist staff they employ, they are able to be flexible as long as the core responsibilities to the audit function are upheld.

Not only will you be working in a stable and friendly firm but you’ll be using the latest I.T., supported by experience staff, with prospects for swift progression and benefits including a contributory pension, remote access for flexible working and generally attractive working hours.
