Job: SCADA Operator
Location: Essex
Salary: £20,000-£23,000K
Hours: 12 hour shift days and nights
• Provide support to the Shift Co-ordinator to efficiently run the shift.
• Can run SCADA with minimum supervision.
• Ensure team leader daily shift report is filled in correctly.
• Communicate and drive staff expectations in regards to the company’s values.
• Ensure staff coverage is arranged for in order to meet production targets in cooperation with the Shift Co-ordinator.
• Has an understanding of the variables that affect plant yield and output.
• Ensure all shop floor production sheets are completed correctly, signed off and handed in the correct area.
• Record NCR’s and liaises with the quality department in regards to meeting food grade criteria for our customers.
• Communicate regularly with maintenance in order to optimize production availability.
• Ensure hourly checks are made on the pellencs/cone.
• Fully understands the variables that impact plant yield and output.
• Can actively troubleshoot and address unexpected issues and problems.
• Can effectively implement improvements.
• Deputise on a regular basis for the Shift Co-ordinator by running the shift in his/her absence.
• Have the capabilities to coach and train others on the SCADA.
