Job Role – Operation Manager
Salary - £33,000 - £35,000
Hours – Night Shift

Our client is looking to recruit an experienced Operations Manager to join their rapidly growing organisation in the Kent location. Candidates will be expected to have strong production and leadership skills preferable within a food environment.

PURPOSE OF JOB: to manage and drive development across all operational teams, setting, monitoring and improving measures and targets.

TECHNICAL CRITERIA
Knowledge, Skills & Aptitudes
Education

• IOSH Managing Safely
• Good standard of education – English Maths GCSE C (or equivalent) or above
• Formal management qualification i.e. DMS or in house company programme or can demonstrate self development through further education
• Excellent IT skills, eg Excel, Word
• Working knowledge of BRC and its requirements
• Demonstrable understanding of core people management skills i.e. Recruitment and Selection, Absence Management, Grievance

A level (equiv) /
Graduate calibre
Formal management qualification
Commercial exposure
Formal BRC training

BIOGRAPHICAL CRITERIA
• Operational background
• Experience of managing teams
• FMCG Experience
• Worked across a number of operational functions
• Individual has worked upwards through an operational structure
