Temporary Internal Sales Coordinator (1 year fixed contract) Applicants MUST be able to comit to the full 1 year
No supervisory responsibility
Full time (37.5 hours per week)
07.30 to 16.30 Monday to Thursday (and 07.30 to 12.00 on a Friday, subject to change
Purpose of the role: Responsible for all internal sales activities for a range of audible and visual signalling products. Supporting the business with a view to developing and increasing sales.

Duties to include:

• Daily reconciliation of sales figures using Excel
• Order inputting of customer orders
• Liaise with freight forwarders to ensure customer orders are shipped on schedule, prepare all relevant paperwork to accompany goods
• Deal with customer queries, enquiries and complaints
• Provide complete & accurate product advice
• Email & fax quotations via a Contact Management System (ACT)
• Following up on quotations
• Monitor orders – close liaison with production to ensure customer satisfaction
• Collate end of month figures using various sales figures
• Provide sales support to external account manager

Person Specification:

• Excellent telephone manner
• Good communications skills
• Numerate and literate
• Computer literate – intermediate Excel and Word
• Self motivated
• Able to work under own initiative or as part of a team in a busy working environment
• Ability to prioritise work load
