I am currently looking for a Assistant Cook to work for a large client of mine in the Erith area. You will be working with a Chef Manager, Kitchen Assistant and Kitchen Porter. Pay depends on experience but willing to pay inbetween £7.69-£8.65 per hour. Postion is long term temporary at the moment but the client is ideally looking for someone who might be interested in the permanent position long term. You need to be prepared to do all duties from cleaning the tables and the floor to covering the Chef Manager. Covering the Chef Manager will include cooking, organising the kitchen and ordering. Main duties will be assisting the Chef Manager with prep work including sandwich making, salads etc. If taken on permanently the salary they are looking to pay is £16-18k but will be discussed if position is offered. Need to have own chef whites and safety shoes and ideally be a car driver due to location. Hours of work will be 6 am until 2 pm Monday to Friday, occational weekends.
