We have an amazing opportunity for an experienced Assistant Store Manager to join our client within Dartford who specialise within self-storage to run their busy facility!

You will be involved within all aspects of running the store and growing the business. Having gained experience at a similar level in the retail or sales sectors, you will have a proven track record in sales, be confident you can meet targets and inspire your team to exceed expectations.

Responsibilities and Duties include the following:

• Sales and Customer Service.
• Responsible for the conversion of prospects into customers and actively promote the sale on add on products.
• Actively promote the sale of merchandise.
• Identify ways to improve business performance.
• To promote the services of both the store and the company.
• To ensure that all customers, in person and via telephone, are greeted and approached in accordance with the company standards.
• Ensure that all customer enquiries are captured and followed up with the appropriate timely action.
• To ensure that all customers visiting the store use the correct sign in and visiting procedure.
• Ensure that all customers are handles in a calm and professional manner.
• Store presentation.
• Ensure that the company equipment is fit for its purpose and to report any equipment which is in need of attention.

Skills and expectations:

• Computer Literate.
• Business/Commercial Awareness within a sales and marketing background.
• Experience within managing customer relationships.
• Proven ability to perform in a fast-paced demanding environment with minimal supervision.
• Self-driven, passionate and committed to excel above expectations.
• Responsible for the delivery of sales target results.
• Be flexible and willing to travel.
• Possess strong sales ethic.
• Excellent communication in a professional manner.
• Assisting the Store Manager by taking a Customer Focused and Commercial Approach in the running of the facility.
• Ultimate aim is to improve the stores performance by maximising turnover and profits.
