?To champion health care at its best? : that is vision and strategy here at KIMS and as Clinical Manager, you will provide exceptional professional and clinical leadership for the wards and day unit to ensure this vision becomes a reality.



Your responsibilities will include:



* Being responsible for the day to day running of the wards and day surgery unit ensuring patient needs are met and policies are adhered to

* Daily monitoring of staffing in various areas and managing the weekly planning of activity

* Deliver the KIMS clinical strategy across all areas of the hospital whilst ensuring safe and outstanding patient care

* To promote and develop standards of care relating to the CQC standards

* Hold and operate the Senior Nurse phone in working hours ensuring out of hours are covered adequately

* Assist in the development of operational procedures and policies to ensure the most efficient patient pathways and work flows

* Keep clinical skills up to date, dealing and assisting with patient cases when possible.



The ideal candidate will:



* Be a senior RGN with experience working in an acute hospital (NHS and/or private)

* Minimum of 5 years post-registration clinical experience

* Ideally a leadership qualification/training

* Evidence of continuous professional development

* Experience of budgeting and planning

* Be absolutely patient focused, with a focus and drive to provide an exceptional patient service in line with current policies and CQC standards.
