We are currently seeking to recruit an experience creche/nursery practitioner for a busy, thriving nursery in the Maidstone area. The candidate must have a Level 3 Diploma/NVQ in Childcare (Early Years Educator) or equivalent and have had supervisory or room leader experience ideally. It is also a requirement that they have a full driving licence and access to a car due to the location of the nursery.The position is subject to 5 years worth of referencing.
Skills and Abilities:
- Supervisory experience
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team
- Engaging
- Time management
- Creativity
- Good organisational skills, observation and planning skills
- Excellent communication
Knowledge:
- Early Years Foundation Stage
- Key theories and developments around child learning
- Health and Safety requirements
- Safeguarding procedures
This a 40 hour a week full time post with shifts to cover the hours between 7am to 7pm. This can be worked over 4 x 10 hour days or 5 x 8 hour days but some flexibility will be required.
