The Park was left to the people of Maidstone by Sir Garrard Tyrwhitt-Drake and is operated by the Cobtree Manor Estate Trust.

The visitor centre and cafe, which is the final phase of the £1.1million improvement programme, opened in August 2015. The catering assistant will help in the running of the catering provision in the park. They will be part of the Cobtree Team and will report to the Cobtree Catering Supervisor.

The successful candidate will have catering experience including cooking and food preparation in a fast paced environment. They will be enthusiastic, willing to learn and have a good understanding of providing excellent customer service.

The successful applicant will be based in Cobtree Manor Park and along with other team members be expected to cover seven days a week.
