We are looking for a committed and organised Finance Assistant to work within our small and friendly team providing finance and payroll support to our charity.
The Challenging Behaviour Foundation (CBF) is a unique UK charity focussed on the needs of children, young people and adults with a severe learning disability whose behaviour may challenge, and their families. We believe that with the right support, in the right place, at the right time everyone can lead a full and active life. We are a family carer led organisation, engaging families at all levels of our work.
You will need to have relevant experience in a finance/accounting role and be pro-active in developing processes and procedures to meet the needs of the organisation and different funding requirements. Experience of Quickbooks would be preferable
You will be required to work 15 hours per week to be worked between the hours of 9am – 5pm, Monday to Friday. The days/times can be negotiated e.g. 3 x 5hr days or 5 x 3hr days.
The role is based in Chatham, Kent and has good road links with the M2 and M20 and is within walking distance of the train station with a high speed link to London.
