Service Advisor

Sparshatts of Kent Ltd - Sittingbourne

Sparshatts of Kent Ltd are a Mercedes-Benz Commercial franchise. We currently have a vacancy for a Service Advisor to join our team at our Sittingbourne depot on the Eurolink Industrial Estate.

The job role includes:

• managing workshop loading
• liaising with and updating customers
• up-selling our service offering
• compiling estimates
• obtaining order numbers from customers
• preparing vehicles for the workshop
• liaising with the workshop
• building relationships and delivering a first class service to our customers
• Knowledge of dealer systems such as ADP Autoline would be an advantage

The successful applicant must have:

• Previous experience of working in the motor industry
• excellent customer service skills
• display a good understanding of general computer systems
• have an excellent attitude and display flexibility within the working environment
• A good technical understanding/previous experience within a workshop environment would be a distinct advantage.

Physical Requirements

• Reach/handle
• Stoop/bend/kneel/crouch/crawl/balance/climb
• Occasional work in cramped, confined, enclosed, or awkward places
• Demonstrate visual acuity

This position is a full time appointment with a 45 hour working week which includes alternating Saturdays.
