We are currently recruiting for a Financial Planning Administrator on behalf of our established and respected client in the area, that operates a Chartered IFA practice, where quality, integrity and relationships are key and at the heart of its approach to advising both individual and corporate clients.

This progressive firm of Advisers is looking for an additional Financial Planning Administrator, due to continued growth.

Recent experience working as an IFA Administrator would be a definite advantage for this position. However, we will consider applicants with strong administrative capabilities, together with outstanding numerical and statistical skills (for example, a graduate with a degree in mathematics and statistics, or similar), so there is some degree of flexibility on the ideal applicant.

General overview of the position:
You will be processing on line new business applications for retail clients in a timely and compliant manner for a variety of Pensions, Investments and Protection.
An important part of this position will be the ongoing maintenance and servicing of their existing client base – ensuring the information is up to date and accurate, making any amendments as deemed necessary.
You will be handling Group Scheme Administration (pensions, death in service and private medical insurance).
Preparing client files for Adviser meetings
Processing letters of authority
Producing illustrations, ie comparison quotations including the collation of literature and pre-population of applications
Issuing policy documents to clients
Updating client portfolios for annul review and printing reports
Creating new client files and maintaining.
Completing general administration and requests on behalf of the Directors
General diary management, scheduling, re-scheduling appointments
Occasional meet/greet of client/visitors to the office

Working within a friendly professional team, the general person specifications we are seeking include a combination of the following:
Strong levels of numeracy
A meticulous attention to detail and accuracy
Strong organisational capabilities
The ability to work individually and also as part of the team
A strong work ethic
Excellent communication skills (both written and oral)
The ability to cope well within a fast paced office environment
Strong organisational skills
Must be able to demonstrate IT competency in MS Office, Excel etc
Smart and professional appearance
The ability to handle maters of a highly confidential nature
Hours/days of work:
8.30am – 5.00pm with an hour for lunch (37.5 hours per week) Monday to Friday
6 month probationary period after which, company pension scheme with 5% employer contributions, death in service, medical cash plan become available

Package:
Exceptional salary available, depending on experience.
Standard 6 month probationary period
Outstanding working conditions
