We are a small expanding practice in a rural location close to Woodchurch, Ashford, looking for the right person to join our team of 6.
The role will involve preparing accounts for a range of clients – sole traders, partnerships and limited companies. You will need to be able to take a set of accounts through to review stage/partner approval; prepare quarterly VAT Returns, prepare personal and corporation tax returns as well as run monthly and/or weekly payrolls as part of our team.
Experience using a variety of software packages is sought – our practice currently supports Iris, Xero, VT Transaction and SAGE amongst others.
We are looking for someone with a demonstrable background in accounts preparation within an accountancy practice, a good communicator, who will be able to build and maintain client relationships and is able to adapt to a wide range of businesses. There is flexibility to find the right candidate for this opportunity. Candidates could be either AAT qualified or equivalent or qualified by years of valuable experience. The over-riding factor is an interest in providing a high quality service to clients. You will need your own transport due to the rural location of our offices and for seeing clients at their own premises.
