Experienced software developer
We are pleased to offer an extremely exciting opportunity to join our development team to further develop our market leading web-based patient and practice management products PracticePal and iCareWEB.
The role will involve continuing development of these existing products, where we have already specified many new functional requirements, as well as developing from ground up several integrations to established products such as Mailchimp, Xero, Quickbooks, Healthcode etc.
As well as coding, testing and deploying new functions and screens, you will also be designing new reports for clients to analyse data entered via these new modules, and extending the existing range of reports available.
In addition, you will work with the development team to identify improvements to the mobile versions of these software products, with a scope to improve but also potentially develop completely new mobile versions targeting all major platforms.
You will have at least 2 years experience working for a software development company creating user screens and functionality, presenting, manipulating, validating and storing data. Ideally you will have created/worked on business software such as a CRM package.
You will be able to liaise professionally with clients, work as part of a team as well as organise your own work meticulously taking responsibility for delivery timescales. You will be extremely methodical documenting all coding as well as supporting documentation and specifications. You will work to extremely high standards and undertake in-depth testing and quality assurance with everything you deliver.
Essential skills:
Visual studio 2010 and upwards
Software-as-a-service development
Server-side via VB.NET and ASP.NET
Client-side via Javascript, JQuery, Css and HTML
Data via ADO.NET, SQL Server and Transact SQL
Restful api methods
Non essential but advantageous skills:
Crystal reports
Telerik UI for ASP.NET AJAX

Telerik UI for ASP.NET MVC
WCF Data services
Entity framework
