Position : Experienced Estimator
Location : Office Based in Sidcup Kent
Hours : Monday to Friday – 8.00 until 17.30

Experienced Estimator
The successful applicant is required to have extensive experience in tender submissions, ideally within the electrical industry. We are looking for a focussed and committed individual to add to our team, they will be responsible for the production of tender estimates and technical submissions.

Tasks day to day include, but are not limited to:

Role Responsibilities
• Responsible for producing estimates
• Responsible for bid management for tender submissions
• Responsible for initial terms and conditions review at tender stage
• Formulate budgets and review rates
• Attend briefings with clients for all unsuccessful bids
• Ensure all bids are compliant with our company systems and procedures

Required Knowledge
• Minimum academic qualification to HND, preferably degree level in an electrical discipline
• Minimum 5 years’ experience in project delivery or operational engineering within the Rail industry and/or Electrical and Civil
• ICI LUL Module – compliance completed
• Network Rail PTS – accustomed

Essential Skills
• Excellent knowledge of software such as MS Word, Excel and Outlook
• Experience in managing people in an operational and commercial sense

• Ability to work to deadlines and manage priorities efficiently
• Full clean driving licence
