Head of Housekeeping
Hours: Tuesday – Saturday 8am – 3pm. Over time often available, hours slightly flexible/negotiable if required. This position could be full time (40-50 hours a week) if preferred. 28 days holiday a year. Permanent position. References required.

Busy pub, restaurant and wedding venue overlooking the Swale Estuary encompassing restaurant, bar and superior accommodation for 40+. We are a successful family run business and use beef, lamb, and game of exceptional quality from our own farm. Between 40-150 covers daily, monthly events/functions, outside catering and over 70 weddings per year.
We were awarded Best Dining Pub in Kent 2014 and were awarded our first AA Rosette in September 2015.

Job Description
We have a vacancy for a hard working, meticulous head housekeeper to join our team.
The role is physically demanding, and standards expected are very high for both quality and speed of work. Main duties are to be fully responsible and accountable for all housekeeping, laundry, ironing and upkeep of the Inn, five 4* B&B rooms and four 4* cottages - keeping them consistently to their 4* standard.

Candidate requirements
​Applicants must be capable of working alone but also coordinating a small team – typically of up to 4 housekeepers. Must be self-motivated, a team player, and have a positive energetic attitude. Attitude & personal standards of cleaning more important than experience.
Candidate must be reliable and must have transport due to our remote location
