Due to continued growth, this fast-paced award winning company is seeking a talented Account Executive to work in the sales team.

The ideal candidate will have talent in sales and experience in customer service. They will be a reliable professional able to achieve balance between customer orientation and a results-driven approach.

Job Description:
The primary role of the Account Executive is to develop a rapport with existing clients and provide support that will continually improve the relationship. They are also required to grow and retain existing accounts by presenting new solutions and services to them. Working in tandem and to support the Business Development Executive, strategic planning is a key part of this job description. It will be the Account Executive’s responsibility to process sales and quotes on the CRM database. This requires a thorough knowledge of the market, the solutions and services the company can provide and of the company’s competitors.
New Business Development:
- Identify potential clients and the decision makers within the client organisation.
- Research and build relationships with clients.
- Participate in pricing the solution
- Handle objections by clarifying, emphasizing agreements and working through differences to a positive conclusion.
- Use a variety of styles to persuade or negotiate appropriately.
- Present an image that mirrors that of the client.
Client Retention:
- Present new products and services and enhance existing relationships.
- Present products to current and prospective clients - Call as appropriate within your category/market to ensure a robust pipeline of opportunities.
- Provide professional after-sales support to enhance the customers’ dedication
- Work with internal colleagues to meet customer needs.
- Business Development Planning
- Identify opportunities for campaigns, services, and distribution channels that will lead to an increase in sales.
- Using knowledge of the market and competitors, identify and develop the company’s unique selling propositions and differentiators.
- Complete proactive customer “good will” calls
Activity:
- Ensure that data is accurately managed within the company’s CRM or other sales management system.
- Track and record activity on accounts. Ensure all opportunities, forecasts; retention and call activity is recorded within the company’s CRM system.
- Remain in frequent contact with the clients in your responsibility to understand their needs
- Follow up responses if unanswered, provide samples and sample packs. Provide clear and accurate pricing and product information, send & chase customers for artwork mock ups.
- Manage repeat business lists and develop accounts working alongside a Business Development Executive
