An exciting new opportunity has arisen for a fully qualified Accountant to join an extremely successful and established professional services firm within their Private Client department. Their longevity is a tribute to the companys steadiness and deep commitment to working both for its clients' best interests and the good of the local community. They pride themselves on having a culture of respect, understanding and excellence which combines commercial understanding with clear, common sense advice.
The ideal candidate must have:
• Technical ability in all aspects of preparing accounts and self-assessment tax returns
• A good knowledge of relevant IT, such as, accounting and tax return preparation software and HMRC online filing
• Excellent skills in Word, Outlook and Excel (Windows 2010)
• Excellent telephone and interpersonal skills
• Ability and willingness to learn and to maintain the firm’s standards
• Ability to work alone and as part of a team
The function of this role is to contribute to the overall success of the Private Client department by providing accounting and tax compliance services for trustees, executors and private individuals.
This position is full time and permanent but part time would be considered for an extremely strong candidate.
Basic salary - £25,000 - £30,000 dependent on experience and qualifications. Any relevant and completed qualifications will be considered.
