Our client is a new business offering property services to public sector clients. Although new they are taking on a ?2bn property portfolio with existing contracts. Employing 120 staff they currently turnover ?9m but expect this to grow to ?22m over the next 5 years. This is an exciting time to join a company at its beginnings and be an integral part in shaping and forming their future.

As a key member of the Executive Management team and as a Director on the Company Board, the Finance Director will report to the Managing Director and assume a strategic role in the overall management of the company. The Finance Director will have primary day-to-day responsibility for planning, implementing, managing and controlling all financial-related activities of the company. This will include direct responsibility for accounting, finance, forecasting, strategic planning, job costing, legal, property management, deal analysis and negotiations, investor relationships and partnership compliance and private and institutional financing.

The business is looking for a qualified Finance Director to work on an interim basis whilst they recruit for a permanent post, with previous experience of working at a strategic financial level reporting to a board. Ideally you will have a mixture of public and private sector experience as well as being commercially astute, articulate and an influential leader. You will be passionate about their business, and approach your work with an innovative style.

Hours: 2-3 days per week. They are flexible with days and hours for the right candidate.
