Commencing on a temporary basis, this role will progress to Permanent for the right person.
This is an exciting new role for a up and coming Cook / CDP to work with a local organisation on a Full Time basis - and NO Split Shifts!!
Working a 40 hour week (core hours 9am to 4pm), you'll be assisting an experienced and established Cook in a spotlessly clean and well equipped kitchen whilst cooking for a regular clientele.
Duties will include:
Prepping, cooking a range of homemade pies, stews, soups and other dishes, using fresh ingredients to compliment the season.
Washing down and making the kitchen to sparkling again!
The role would suit a person who is very proud of what they do, eager to learn new skills and who is able to improvise a menu to suit unexpected weather conditions etc.
Although training will be given, preference will be given to those who can demonstrate previous relevant cooking experience.
A Food Hygiene Level Certificate Level 1 is a minimum requirement.
