Barker Munro are delighted to be recruiting for an Accounts Assistant for an established company based in East Kent.
My client is a privately owned business that is going through a period of growth. This would be an excellent opportunity for someone who is looking to develop their skills in the accounts and admin space to do so. They are a very friendly team who are all very driven, hard working and close knit and they are looking for someone with the same values to join them.
Ideally you will be an experienced Accounts Assistant who is able to provide clerical and accounts duties to contribute to the smooth running of the office.
The ideal candidate would be;
•Focused and ambitious
•Meticulous and hard working
•Reliable
•Organised
•Accurate
•Numerate
Responsibilities:
•To undertake varied administrative tasks as required ensuring that they are completed accurately and in a timely manner
•Sales Ledger - Invoicing, aged debt, reporting, credit checks
•Purchase Ledger - Invoices, Statements
•Banking - BACS/Cheques, credit card processing, reconciliations
•To undertake daily posting of purchase invoices received
•Chasing of all outstanding invoices
•Payroll
•Ad-Hoc tasks as required by the line manager
Skills Required:
•Computer Literate: Comfortable working knowledge of Word and Excel
•Knowledge of SAGE Accounts
