Rebate Clerk - Enterprise House Ashford

Grade: Ungraded (Part Time - Perm)

An exciting new vacancy has arisen within the Credit Management Department at Ashford, we are seeking an energetic and enthusiastic candidate to join our successful and growing team.

Reporting to the Line Manager your duties and responsibilities will include:

Key Accountabilities & Responsibilities

- Setting up and maintaining customer rebates on both SAP and Concerto within the team SLA
- Effective & professional handling of internal and external customer queries
- Liaising with the Sales Force
- Accurate input of Customer terms forms
- Meeting deadlines for financial accounting periods
- Accurate reconciliation of accruals/provisions
- Prompt turnaround of payments to customers within the SLA agreed
- Maintaining own portfolio of accounts
- Audit requirements and authorisation levels are meet
- Clear down of Customer Rebates.
- Cheque run

- Self starter-proactively seeks to find solutions
- Customer centric - identifying and serving needs of internal and external customers
- Promotes can do attitude
- Able to deliver to agreed commitments

Knowledge, Skills, Experience

- Preferably degree educated or equivalent (or A Level standard with some experience)
- Remains calm under pressure
- Takes ownership for own performance and identifies areas for improvement and development
- Is able to communicate with a variety of staff at all levels
- Can adapt to new systems and procedures
- Reliable, affable, and can communicate effectively with both internal and external customers
- High level of accuracy and attention to detail
- Flexible ``Can do `` attitude

Desirable:

- Good knowledge of SAP
