The target of HMRC is that:

“By 2020, businesses will be able to manage their taxes as part of their day to day running. . . Their accounting software will be able to feed data straight into their digital tax account.”

This will necessitate conversion to software packages and apps. Our client base of small Limited Companies, Sole Traders and Landlords will need help to set up software and change from manual methods. We anticipate a wave of new applications, devices and techniques that will need to be researched and understood.

The Larkfield and Paddock Wood franchise needs an accountant to cope with growth of the business. The new role will have a special responsibility for converting clients with manual records or dated accounting packages to online applications. There will also be research keeping up to date with new plug-ins and mobile apps.

We require AAT qualified or ACA student - preferably with Practice experience - who has an interest and aptitude in experimenting with accounting software. Coaching in relevant packages will be provided, and we support formal training contracts for ICAEW or ACCA.

Salary in the range £21,000 to £26,000 depending on qualifications and experience.
