My client based in Kent is recruiting for an Interim Assistant Management Accountant to join their busy finance team on a 6 month basis. In this role you will work closely with the Financial Controller, assisting with Financial Analysis and providing input into projects, as well as assisting with the preparation of the budget.
Additional duties will include:
-Preparation of monthly management accounts
-Completing VAT returns on a monthly and quarterly basis
-Calculation of monthly prepayments and accruals
-Maintenance of Fixed Asset Register
-Monthly balance sheet reconciliations
-Annual packaging compliance return
The ideal candidate for this role will possess experience within an accounts department with a firm understanding of accruals and prepayments. You must also have strong knowledge of Excel (pivot tables).
