A fantastic opportunity has arisen with a world leading company with a base in Thanet.

We are looking for an experienced Contract & Procurement Lead to support the Senior Management team in the overall procurement process and contract management.



Main duties include;

-Supervise the Contract and Procurement Assistant;

-Assist and develop current contract management processes and procedures;

-Preparation of Contract Packages;

-Confirm compliance of contractors/consultants or take action to ensure compliance with contractual terms and conditions in alignment with agreed business deliverables;

-Provide the full scope of a contract administration function;

-Monitor Contractors performance through regular process meetings and ensure compliance with relevant legislation, delivery schedules, payment provision, data reporting and other contractual deliverables;

-Maintain contract files for designated projects

-Provide project control with costs trends

-Other ad hoc projects.



The successful candidate will be Degree educated, preferably in Law or Business Administration or Engineering, have a minimum of 5 year's experience in energy, engineering or construction related projects and hold a professional qualification and chartered status (CIPS/RICS) which is preferred but not essential.

You will also have experience in schedule analysis and a good understanding of contract terminology.

Basic knowledge of engineering services for Wind projects or related fields would be an advantage but not essential.

You will be good at prioritising and managing multiple assignments with competing deadlines, have strong communication skills.

A good eye for detail is essential along with good IT skills.



This is a contract role however, candidates looking for permanent work will also be considered.
