We are working with our market leading, global manufacturing company.
We are currently recruiting for a Skilled Electrician to join the Engineering team who are responsible for all aspects of the Broadstairs site maintenance. Working on a day shift of 7am - 3pm Monday - Friday, you will be part of a team responsible for all Planned Preventative Maintenance, Fault Finding and Reactive Breakdowns.
From an Industrial/Manufacturing background, you will have experience of a plant environment with large capacity machines and three phase and single-phase distribution systems. You will also have the ability to work on motor switch equipment and control panels. A 17th Edition certification is essential together with an electrical city & guilds/apprenticeship qualification.
You will have a good understanding and record of working to Health and Safety rules and regulations and be comfortable working in confined spaces and at heights. You will be able to work well under pressure as you will work to strict time deadlines. You will need to be flexible in your approach as overtime is sometimes required.
