Mobile grounds maintenance engineer’s mate required for commercial, industrial and retail premises across the south east of England. Ideally, candidates should have experience in using portable landscaping equipment such as strimmers, hedgecutters, blowers and lawnmowers and have NQV qualifications in horticulture. However, candidates who are able to demonstrate a desire to learn and enhance themselves will be considered and every opportunity will be given for further personal development through on the job and structured training for the correct person.
Candidates must be flexible, willing to undertake very early starts and should be able work using their own initiative with the minimum of supervision. Applicants must also be a strong team player as they will be working as part of a regular crew on an ongoing basis.
A full current driving licence, along with own transport to and from the office each day, is essential and candidates without such will not be considered. Salary according to age and experience.
