Connect2Kent are seeking temporary Support Analysts to work with our client based in Maidstone.
The purpose of the job is to migrate approximately 300 school and parish council websites from a current website, which is based on a bespoke content management system, to a new WordPress hosted solution.
The role involves using custom tools to migrate content and then communicating the changes with the customer via email and telephone. Project tracking information needs to be updated to reflect progress.
All necessary training will be provided.
Main duties and responsibilities:
*Create new WordPress site from a provided template
*Migrate content from old site using an automated script
*Organise and publish imported site content to fit the template structure
*Upload site from local device to the internet
*Communicate changes with the customer
*Make changes as agreed with the customer
*Arrange for new WordPress site to replace current live site
QUALIFICATIONS
GCSE Grade C (or equivalent) in English Language and Computing
EXPERIENCE
Experience using Microsoft Office products
Experience in an ICT customer support environment
Experience managing WordPress sites is desirable
SKILLS AND ABILITIES
Display an empathetic approach with customers and a patient attitude when explaining systems and processes.
Good interpersonal skills in order to communicate effectively by
telephone or in writing
Good general IT literacy skills
