Ethelbert Children's Services are seeking to recruit a qualified Supervising Social Worker to be part of our dynamic Fostering Support Team.
As a Supervising Social Worker, you will be responsible for the support and supervisions of the Foster Carers allocated to you. You will be part of a busy but very supportive team where both supervision and training are seen as vital to your own personal/professional growth.
We are keen to receive applications from those qualified Social Workers who have experience in Fostering or Children and Families.
You will need to be highly motivated, well organised, have good recording and computer skills but most importantly, be able to build relationships with Foster Carers, children and their families. A sense of humour is vital alongside excellent interpersonal skills.
You are expected to present to our Fostering Panel and to provide a range of evidence based reports.
You should demonstrate a good understanding of the Fostering Regulations and National Minimum Standards.
