A Digital Marketing Officer with SEO skills is required to join a well established company. The Duet Group is a specialised service company offering leasing of musical instruments to the educational sector. The company has recently developed an innovative online consumer business; our objective is to build this into a strong brand across the UK providing a service to musicians and music students. Additionally the company is finalising plans to develop a further educational resource website to be launched in 2017.

The successful candidate will have some experience in a similar role/environment and the confidence to rapidly grow our SEO through digital marketing, affiliate marketing and Social Media. The key responsibilities are:

• Develop an SEO and Digital Marketing strategy to meet agreed business objectives
• Deliver daily organic search traffic volumes in line with agreed targets and budget
• Liaise with third party companies/agencies to create digital marketing campaigns
• Provide detailed analysis and reporting directly to the Board to demonstrate impact of activity
• Provide analysis and research on current market conditions and competitors
• Day to day management of all the companies Websites and the content therein
• Develop robust website quality assurance and administration policies

The Person:
• Further Education and/or have some relevant experience
• An extensive knowledge of improving the ranking and traffic of a website
• Previous SEO and digital marketing work experience within a commercial environment is desired but not essential
• Analytical – excited by and proficient at numerical marketing
• Demonstrable knowledge of website analytics tools (Google Analytics, Webmaster, Adwords, Moz, Majestic SEO and Social Media Tools etc)
• Self disciplined – able to drive own work and create and hit own timelines
• Fanatical about detail - the ability to be solely responsible and accountable for the content on the company’s websites
• Passionate about what the company is trying to achieve and how digital marketing, particularly SEO can play the defining role in achieving these objectives
• A keen interest in musical instruments is desired but not essential

The starting package for the role is £20,000 per annum and the benefits include a company Healthcare Policy; excellent future prospects within our niche independent business.
