We are looking to recruit a Registered Manager for Supported Living Services based at our Community Support Services Office at Woodchurch with responsibility for our eight Community Support Services homes within Ashford, New Romney and Woodchurch.
Canterbury Oast Trust takes pride in providing good quality care and support for adults with learning disabilities in small, unique family style homes. The ethos of all our homes is to support independence, dignity, choice and achievement by helping people to live the lives they choose.
As Registered Manager you will lead the development, growth and operation of the Trust’s Supported Living (CSS) service in support of the strategic aims and objectives of the Trust, under the guidance of our Quality & Compliance Manager. You will maintain quality standards required by the Trust as well as meeting all relevant legislative requirements. You will also be responsible for day to day management of the CSS budget; contribute to tender submissions and work with the senior care team to support the smooth running of care services overall.
Skills required:
• Experience of managing multi-site, multi-property Supported Living
Services
• Minimum of three years Registered Manager experience
• Experience of line managing a team
• DIPSW or CQSW or NVQ4 RMA/Diploma Level 5 in Health & Social Care
• Knowledge of the needs and rights of adults with Learning Disabilities
• Good knowledge and understanding of CQC, Health and Safety and
Local Authority requirements.
