Dunlop BTL Ltd is a UK manufacturer and international distributor of Bearings, Power Transmission and Motion Transfer Linkages. We produce items for some of the world’s most prestigious and well-known brands such as Bentley Motors, New Holland Tractors, JCB and John Deere.
We have exciting changes happening within our brand and company development, so due to continued expansion we are now recruiting for a full time web developer with a strong knowledge of IT. Ideally you will have a minimum of 2/3 years’ proven experience and have worked in a commercial environment. Can meet deadlines, work well on own initiative as well as a team player!
The following skill set, experience would be desirable to be considered for the role:
• Strong PHP development experience
• Magento experience (ideally from v1.9 onwards)
• Database scripting (MySQL and Microsoft SQL Server)
• JavaScript, JQuery, CSS, HTML5
• Knowledge of Microsoft SBS 2011 and Exchange 2010
• Active Directory
• Excellent communication skills
It would also be desirable that you have the following knowledge however this is not essential:
• Strong IT Maintenance and Troubleshooting skills (Hardware and Software)
• WordPress CMS
• Windows Server 2012
• Make improvements across the business within IT to ensure maximum productivity with minimal downtime
• Networking
• A good basic working knowledge of Adobe packages such as Photoshop, Flash and Dreamweaver etc would be an advantage.
Our current website will be changing so we are looking for someone who can work alongside the designer with updating the look and running of the new sites as well as the development and maintenance of our online shop.
The successful applicant would be joining a very friendly team working 8.30am to 5.30pm Monday to Friday, 28 days annual leave entitlement per year including all bank holidays. Company Contributory Pension scheme. Pay is negotiable depending upon experience.
