Prominent Mid-Kent firm with strong links in the local community and a growing client base currently have an opening for an experienced accounts senior.
Client base operates across a diverse range of industry sectors and through to OMB’s with t/o’s in excess of £50 million. A core element of clients are in the local area but this firm also has a national and international flavour.
Opportunity:-
• Reporting directly to the relevant Partner this role will operate across a broad range of industry sectors and will deal with clients with turnovers through to £5 million.
• There may also be some consolidation work and the opportunity to work closely with your clients.
• Other duties might include: management accounts and bookkeeping, payroll, processing, VAT and tax compliance. Some exposure to audit would also be useful.
Candidate:-
This role would suit a local candidate and someone formally qualified with a proven practice experience and detailed working knowledge of statutory accounts production. An ability to prioritise your workload, and at times, work to strict deadline will be needed. An innate ability to guide and mentor more junior members of staff would be beneficial as are well developed communications skills.
