A fully qualified Management Accountant is required to join a globally renowned organisation - a prestige name in the luxury retail market.

Acting as the number two to the Finance Director in their absence, the incoming candidate will support the management of the UK finance function in their absence, responsible for the protection of the financial assets of the business.

Daily tasks will include the preparation of management accounts (including profit and loss accounts), budgets, commentaries and variance analysis; controlling the cash book, managing the budget process; managing the expenses ordering system; providing analysis and control for expenditure for department heads; organising and undertaking periodical stock takes; and the implementation corporate governance procedures, risk management and internal controls.

Candidates must either be fully ACCA or CIMA qualified and possess proven experience of using SAP (ECC6 and BI) in order to be considered - without these elements, applications cannot be considered. Strong personnel managerial skills will be required, as in time, the will carry two direct reports; Purchase and Sales Ledger Administrators.

The post holder will possess advanced Excel skills. An analytical mindset coupled with a sound business process understanding is required. Expert communication skills are required coupled with the ability to confidently make important financial business decisions.
