Senior Analyst/Developer - Business Objects

Full Time Contract for 6 months (37 hours per week)

Based in central Maidstone

We are seeking an enthusiastic, motivated and flexible reports developer to work on development and support of universes, reports and other output as defined by business requirements.

Extensive experience of working with Business Objects Web Intelligence and Oracle Report Writer must be demonstrated for this role and be familiar with Business Objects administration.

You will have proven experience of developing specifications to business requirements and able to document these in a structured presentation. You will be required to carry out data analysis and design to produce a technical specification of the requirement. The ability to communicate effectively with managers and staff across the county is essential for this role.

You will have operational knowledge of working with Adult Social Care including Swift/AIS.

Experience of training non-technical users in the use and development of reports using Wen Intelligence is essential for this role.

Attention to detail, quality and experience of successfully delivering projects to tight timescales are essential for this role. You will be required to adhere to detailed technical standards.

You will appreciate the importance of peer review; testing, code annotation and documentation as being important to ensuring solutions are robust, maintainable and supportable.
