PureCare offers high quality residential and supported living services in Medway for people with mental health issues and aims to offer the best standard of support for its clients. Do you feel you have the skills to offer high quality support to another individual?
At PureCare we are very passionate about what we do and, due to expansion, we currently have full-time Shift Manager positions available for the right people. We want people who really do care about making a difference to the lives of others and who are committed to the cause.
As an experienced Shift Manager already, you will be responsible for running shifts. Whether you have worked in mental health before, or any other care sector, you must possess the following:
• a natural desire to succeed and produce at the top level;
• QCF Team Leading level 2 (or equivalent such as NVQ level 3 in Health & Social Care);
• experience of leading and motivating a team of staff;
• experience of effectively monitoring the work of your team and ensuring that all work is carried out to the right standard;
• knowledge of the CQC outcomes;
• trained in the administration of medication;
• knowledge of the MCA and awareness of DOLS;
• excellent organisational skills;
• an ability to work under pressure;
• the ability to adapt to changing circumstances;
• experience of providing staff supervisions; and
• experience of using Microsoft Office.
Knowledge of the Mental Health Act is desirable but not essential.
You will need to be flexible and must be prepared to work on a 24 hour 7 day rota.
