We have a an opportunity for a experienced complaints and case handler with a background in insurance services to join my very well established client.
The role will require you to ensure all complaints are handled in accordance with company standards, TCF and FSA regulations.
Duties will include:
- Handle complaints from policy holders in a timely manner and adherence to all processes
- Regularly review cases and progress
- Prioritisation of workload
- Liaison with FOS
- Accurate data entry to complaints database ensuring accurate MI
Skills and experience required:
- Knowledge and understanding of rules relating to handling policyholders complaints and general insurance matters
- Previous background of handling complaint cases within financial services industry
- Ability to remain calm and objective to handle difficult cases
- Proven negotiation and influencing skills
- A very high standard of written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to discuss issues effectively with all levels of the market
- Flexibility to work independently and as a part of a team
- Good IT skills, including Access, Excel and Word
- Experience of using Crest would be a distinct advantage
- Competent in operational, change, risk and people management
