We are looking for a highly organised Operations and Fulfilment Manager to help us scale up and manage our dispatch operation.

You'll have a pivotal role in a high growth business and an opportunity to learn about operations within the food industry, while taking on managing a small team from day 1. You'll be based at our supplier's warehouse in Otford, Sevenoaks, where our fulfilment operation is run. You'll sit between the two businesses liaising directly with senior management at both businesses.

Key Responsibilities:
1. You'll ensure safe receipt and stock management of products in the warehouse - following food industry best practice (under instruction from Client). You will receive full training on this.
2. You'll run and manage a small team to make sure all products are picked, packed and dispatched effectively, utilising basic computer skills across web tools, excel and our bespoke system to manage new customer orders.
3. You'll be responsible for quality assurance with KPIs to bring our fulfilment errors below target. You'll also be required to remain organised and switched on to identify any potential problems as they're happening.
4. You'll be required to manage temporary staff requirements effectively for the packing operation.
5. You'll be responsible for improving efficiency of the fulfilment process, measured by a labour cost per box shipped KPI, giving you the opportunity to improve process which directly impacts on the bottom line.
6. You'll also be responsible for end to end management of our returns process.
7. You'll need to be available to pass our products to Royal Mail on a daily basis and will need to maintain a relationship with Royal Mail regarding our dispatch schedule.

Minimum Requirements:
- Basic Computer literacy across Microsoft word, Microsoft excel, and able to use/learn basic web tools
- Confident managing a small team of picker-packers
- Highly organised and process driven
- Fast learner
- Able to build rapport at both junior staff level and management level

Package:
Salary - £18k-£22k
