Thackeray’s is a well-established fine dining restaurant in the heart of Kent. Opened in 2001, Thackeray’s achieved a Michelin Star in its first year under the guidance of Celebrity Chef, Richard Phillips. Serving Modern French cuisine, Thackeray’s has set out to deliver a unique dining experience. This vision has been achieved through our dedication to sourcing the very finest quality ingredients and is maintained by ensuring that our commitment to customer experience is paramount.

We are expanding our in-house team and are recruiting for additional Front of House staff, which includes waitresses / waiters runners and bar staff.

Key responsibilities –
• Working on shifts patterns 6 days a week
• Excellent customer service experience
• Attention to details
• Excellent time keeping
• Team player
• Excellent time keeping
• Attending training sessions
• Preparing the restaurant and function rooms ready for service
• Cleaning of silver wear and glasses
• Runners are required during service for dispensing all food from the kitchen to the dining area and communicating any relevant information to the waiting staff. (table numbers, position numbers etc
• Waitress responsible for liaising with the customer in an appropriate manner and delivering service standards as directed by your manager.

The ideal candidate will have previous experience of working within a restaurant environment.
