Development Chef

Are you an experienced Chef who has experience in developing menus and food products? If so we have an ideal role for you.

Our client is a global company who require a Development Chef to join their team, increasing it from a team of 2 to a team of 4 chefs.

Within this role you will be responsible for:

*Providing multiple customers across multiple categories with a proactive, responsive, forward thinking and innovative product development packages
*Developing menus and dish ideas on behalf of major clients and customers

Key skills/experience needed:

*Previous experience working as a Chef and within concept development
*Strong culinary knowledge
*Global cuisine interest required
*Manufacturing knowledge an asset but not essential
*Cooking methods and understanding a must have across multiple processes from Frying/Boiling/Steaming/Roasting/Sous vide/Combination cook.
*Commercial awareness
*Comfortable in customer facing situations from verbal presentation to cooking demonstrations
*Computer literate. PowerPoint, Excel, Word used daily in the role
