An Accounts Senior position has become available at this ambitious and growing independent firm based in Maidstone. My client is looking for a self motivated professional with excellent written and verbal communication skills.

As the ideal applicant you must have; a minimum of 4 years Practice experience, newly qualified ACA or ACCA applicants will be considered (if you meet the experience required).

The role requires you to: Prepare statutory accounts (including consolidated accounts), produce tax computations for limited companies, audits and other ad hoc duties and to assist with the training of junior staff.

This role will afford you the opportunity to prove yourself, you will also have Partner level access and client communications on a regular basis.

Required Knowledge and Experience:

* Prefer a 50%/50% or 70%/30% split of Accountancy and Audit work currently being carried out.

* Experience within a small or medium sized practice (preferably at least 4 years).

* Have good working knowledge of UK GAAP and International Auditing Standards (UK and Ireland).

* Qualified ACA or ACCA.

* Experience of leading non-audit assignments from planning to completion is essential.
