An exciting opportunity to join a growing and proactive firm of Chartered Certified Accountants based in the Dartford area. We are currently looking for a highly organised and proficient Payroll Senior. The post-holder will be expected to have extensive experience of dealing with clients from various industries and associated matters that arise with such clients, such as incomplete information or records.
The main responsibilities of the post-holder will include the following:
• Manage and coordinate the end-to-end process of delivering Payroll services to clients.
• Achieve monthly billing targets.
• To plan, in conjunction with the Tax Compliance manager , the best way to implement legislative, procedural and system changes and to ensure that standard procedures are developed and maintained to reflect these changes.
• Attend client meetings when necessary.
• Manage all queries that arise within the department.
• Any other duties commensurate with the position of Payroll Senior.
Person Specification:
The post-holders should:
• Have relevant work experience, ideally 3 years
• Have excellent interpersonal skills
• Have a good telephone manner
• Be well organised
• Be able to work with little supervision
• Have previous practice experience in a similar role
• Ideally have a relevant qualification, such as CIPP, ATT or AAT
