RS French is a family owned and run business with over 20 years experience in our field.

We have an ever growing fleet of containers, welfare units, offices, modular units and toilets capable of supplying both industrial and domestic markets.

Supporting the hire fleet is our transport division which includes lorry mounted cranes and highly skilled operatives. This enables us to handle the whole hire process in house to ensure a personal and reliable service for our customers.

As a Hire and Sales Operator at RS French you will be responsible for the processing of all on/off hire and sales requests from initial inquiry through to the product arriving at site.

Job role:

• Provide customers with product specifications and associated costs
• Undertake full responsibility for all hire and sales enquiries following company procedures
• Plan and oversee transport logistics
• Generate business opportunities
• Management of hire fleet
• Cross hiring of equipment and services
• Credit control
• Purchasing and assistance with the introduction of new products
• Increase the presence of R.S.French within existing market place
• Manage the requirement of purchasing and sale of hire equipment

Requirements:

Successful candidate will have ideally worked in a similar role previously but more importantly as a Hire and Sales Operator at R.S.French you must have:
• Excellent levels of customer service
• Proven sales experience
• Excellent communication skills
• Ability to work on own initiative with limited input from manager
• Existing product knowledge would be advantageous
• Must be methodical and organised
• Strong work ethic
• Good IT skills and ability to pick up new computer systems quickly

Working hours and Pay:

Monday to Friday 8:00am – 5.30pm
£18,000 - £24,000 p.a depending on experience
