KTB Kids is an award winning innovative independent nursery in Dartford for up to 40 children. A forward thinking nursery that has only been open 18 months. We are looking for a creative, motivated, enthusiastic and friendly level three nursery practitioner to work within our caring and 'aspiring to be outstanding' nursery. We offer a positive working environment with good career opportunities. Structured supervision is given to all team members every six weeks and regular appraisals provide the opportunity to review salary and discuss training and development needs and desires. A solid support structure for staff is in place and employees benefit from being part of a larger well skilled team. Nursery practitioners at KTB are recognized as having a direct influence on the reputation of our small professionally run nursery. For this reason good performance, dedication and positive relationships with the children will be rewarded without exception. Candidates must be passionate about children and enjoy interacting with and promoting the development through play, of babies up to pre-school children. You must be friendly, reliable, proactive, positive, able to communicate well and show initiative and to be able to work as part of a team. Beyond this candidates must be able to demonstrate a thorough understanding of the EYFS, key person responsibilities and children's development stages.
Specific responsibilities for level 3 nursery practitioners will include: - Promoting positive relationships with parents, children and colleagues - Ensuring the health, safety and well-being of the children - Supporting the children's development, learning and play - Being a key person carrying out all related responsibilities - Planning of curriculum with room colleagues as per EYFS - Working as part of a team and sharing responsibilities.
