You’ll currently have quite a bit of office experience but thinking you need to move on to something a bit more exciting with more autonomy. Somewhere you can carve out your own niche and take control. If that’s the case, maybe this job is for you.

You’ll be working closely with the Managing Consultant to make sure we deliver technical reports for HMRC. OK, that sounds boring, but it really isn’t. We work with small businesses helping them get money back for the amazing innovative work they do. But they need to give us financial information and that needs sorting and ordering into a specific format.

That means you’ll be working closely with our clients, explaining our processes, looking after them and ensuring we get everything we need from them quickly. You’ll also assist in managing the workload of the Technical Team and liaising with HMRC, accountants and our other partners.

You should be self-motivated and truly believe that team working is the only way to deliver fantastic customer service. We don’t care what your background is, but you will have some solid office experience and be good with numbers. We are pretty much paperless here, so if you struggle to download an app on your mobile phone and are still mystified by the intricacies of texting, this job is not for you.

An understanding of tax is not necessary because we’ll give you lots of training and support. But most important, you’ll be happy to make tea and coffee for everyone when it’s your turn without tutting.
