Outline of the Role:
The Bunker provides Ultra Secure Managed Hosting, Colocation and IT Outsourcing from within UK’s most secure Data Centres.
We are looking to recruit facilities staff to ensure that the Ash facility runs efficiently 24/7/365 and that any risks within the mechanical and electrical systems are clearly identified and raised.
As part of this role you will carry out planned maintenance in accordance with the Ash Preventative Maintenance Plan.
Some Key responsibilities will include:
• To assist the Facilities Health & Safety Officer to ensure compliance with current Health and Safety legislation
• Site adherence to fire regulations including required maintenance of systems and equipment
• Assist with maintenance tasks in accordance with the Ash Site Preventative Maintenance Plan
• To maintain records on all maintenance carried out that are to a standard that can be audited.
• To provide out of hours cover on a rota basis and be available in case of emergency
• To carry the installation of any required electrical equipment (i.e. Cables and distribution boards etc) in compliance with IEE wiring regulations
• To assist with the provision of network cabling, as required
• To work on various plant as installed at the Ash facility
• To provide reports as required by Line Manager
• To carry out general maintenance tasks on site/general building fabric that are required in routine day to day working (erection of boards, screens, notice boards etc)
• Be contactable in case of emergency
• Carry out ad hoc tasks as requested by Line Manager
• Ensure proper completion of all appropriate documentation and the adherence to company practice and procedure
