Fixed term contract until 31 July 2017

Background
Applications are invited for the post of Library Assistant
The Role
The post holder will work as part of a team that will support the delivery of a customer focussed library service through a range of duties relating to service delivery and administrative tasks. These tasks will be coordinated by the appropriate line manager and in accordance with Library Services priorities.
The Person
You will be educated to GCSE level or equivalent and have experience of working as part of a team in a front line customer service role. You should possess good interpersonal and organisational skills, with some knowledge of automated systems.
Previous experience of working in a library or information environment would be an advantage.
