Johnsons Garden Buildings are Kent’s largest independent retailer and installer of high quality log cabins and timber buildings. We have 6 display villages across Kent showing the vast range of our garden buildings and we also specialise in bespoke buildings, offering a superior made to measure service. Due to continuous expansion and growth we are looking to recruit a Sales Advisor to join our existing successful sales team.
This is the perfect role for a motivated and enthusiastic individual to take the opportunity in developing their sales skills and, at the same time, benefit from our “on the job” training at one of our already established sites.
The Role:
You will be responsible for assisting in the achievement of the branch sales targets while ensuring the highest standards of customer service are delivered.
Working at one of our display villages, your day to day duties will be to help identify and follow up sales opportunities, actively manage sales leads and report on all outcomes. This would range from the initial qualification of a customer’s requirements through to the provision of an estimate, arranging a site visit and then ensure that the installation process is a smooth one.
You will also be responsible for the overall appearance of the display village and it will be part of your role to ensure that your site looks immaculate at all times and that any maintenance that is required is reported in the appropriate way and followed up.
Key Skills:
• Sales experience is preferred but full training is given
• Self-motivating individual who thrives on delivering the best customer service while achieving their set goals
• Ability to work on your own and within in team and achieve sales targets
• Confident manner and ideally some experience in selling to the general public
• Excellent time management
• Genuine passions for our products and services
• A good understanding of Microsoft Office, especially Excel, Word, Outlook due to the process and procedures in place
• Good inter-personnel skills as will be working with other internal departments
• Full driving license required and own car essential
The Package:
Salary: £17,000 per annum plus uncapped commission, OTE £23,000
Hours: 5 days per week
Some weekend hours essential
Comprehensive induction and full product training given
