Claims Coordinator – Technical Contract

Recruitment Solutions Folkestone Ltd, are very excited to now be recruiting for our highly recognised leading claims outsourcing & loss adjusting Client within the local area of Ashford. This is a Fixed Term Contract for 4 months (possibly extended), 40 hours per week Monday to Friday with 1 hour paid lunch break.

To ensure that all claims are handled in accordance with Client requirements and Group policies and procedures.

The Technical Team is responsible for the validation and verification of all Contractor, Operator, Supplier reports, estimates, approvals and invoices.
This position will suit candidates with experience of claims handling within an insurance background and of managing complex and technical cases.

All about the role!

• To effectively undertake work allocated to you by your Team Leader
• To progress all reinstatement claims efficiently in adherence to company SLAs
• Ensure work is completed to the required standard
• Undertake the efficient handling of all associated costs connected with the reinstatement process. This is achieved by providing a high level of technical and procedural accuracy and working within the set Delegated Authority limits
• Build relationships with Suppliers, internal, external Clients, stakeholders and colleagues
• Ensure technical and procedural accuracy and that all decisions taken are correct and appropriate and minimise the risk of leakage
• Obtain authorisation of claims outside level of authority
• Handle claims in line with client specifications, set delegated authority limits and the appropriate service standards while providing a high level of customer care
• Ensure sound level knowledge of Client SLA
• Provide a first class customer service
• Actively promote the principle of Treating Customer Fairly
• Adhere to all systems and procedures

• Ability to apply a high level of accuracy and attention to detail.
• Demonstrate a high level of customer service
• Excellent communication skills
• Flexibility and adaptability
• The ability to organise & prioritise own workload
• Working within a team environment and the ability to work under own initiative
• Good computer literacy

All candidates are required to have 4 GCSEs, grades C and above (inc Maths and English) or an equivalent qualification. A CIP, ACII, FIT or degree would be desirable but not essential.
