We are looking for an experienced HTML/CSS/JavaScript developer to come in and take a leading role within the digital team.

You’ll be a member of the agency’s senior management team and so must be able to present new technologies, methodologies and ideas to our other senior people and know why these are the right things to be investing in now from both a technical and commercial perspective.

Candidate Requirements
The skills we're looking for are:

Technical Skills
• Solid HTML/XHTML/HTML5 coding skills
• Solid knowledge of CSS and the tricks of the trade for dealing with older/obscure browsers
• Solid experience in JavaScript development, coding interactive front end experiences
• Working knowledge of Responsive and Mobile web development – ideally using Zurb Foundation or Bootstrap
• Experience of using JavaScript API’s including JQuery
• Experience developing classes and functions in JavaScript
• Experience of using Ajax to communicate with server side applications
• Experience working with Social Media APIs and Social Plugins
• A good eye for user experience and design (pixel perfect)
• Knowledge of .NET and Visual Studio would be an advantage

The day to day…
Your day at Sagittarius will be focused on the development of award winning websites and mobile platforms. In addition you will be a central point of information for those that work in the front end development team and for those in other areas of the business.

You will be asked for your input and ideas on new projects, pitches and proposals and will be expected to be a driving force in terms of the technologies we adopt, the standards that we work to and the way that we approach front end development.
